Leaders of Ozaukee’s Next Generation (L.O.N.G.) The 2013 Leaders of Ozaukee’s Next Generation course will begin in September and is once again generating a high level of interest. This program was developed in 2012 by our local UW-Extension and Ozaukee Economic Development in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and will be back for 2013/14 by popular demand. The course is designed as an eight-session leadership certificate series and was created to help grow and develop Ozaukee’s future leaders. Each session will include two hours of class time, thirty minutes for networking and thirty minutes of group project time. Participants will work on a community service project throughout the year and will present their projects next August to earn a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education Leadership Professional Certificate. This is a fabulous opportunity to help your company’s young professionals develop valuable leadership skills that will be beneficial both in the workplace and in the community.
