THE ADVENTURES OF SIR TOAD CHAPTER 1: A DAY IN THE LIFE Toad woke up and saw his calendar and realized that is was his brother’s wedding day and at once he got out his 4 poster bed and his feet fell on the bear fur rug, he slipped his feet into his pink fluffy bunny slippers and opened the grand oak wardrobe and pulled out his silk tunic. And took off his woollen night top, put his tunic on, then took his slippers off and his night leggings before jumping into his leather trousers . He put his bunny slippers back on and reached out and pulled on the silver ivory door knob next he heaved the polished beech wood door and walked out onto the landing . It glowed green, since the early light of dawn shone through the stained glass window next to the toad status in the main hall. He went down the spruce stairs. Toad lifted his foot and landed it on the polished granite floor of the main hall and walked along he made a squelch as his webbed feet touched the ground. He got to the great oak doors then he took of his slippers and put his walking boots on and opened the door and walked out into the expansive drive of Toad Hall. The doors slammed behind him as he walked on to his ford model-A and revved the engine . CHAPTER 2: THE WILD WOOD The motor car drove along the road into the wild wood Toad turned on the radio “DOO DO DI DOUGH DI DIDY DO” this was by Toads favourite singer MC FLY Toad carried on along the road “phoo-phoo” went the car as he entered the wild wood all of a sudden he heard a “holt how goes there stand and deliver” it was the ferrite highwayman… Toad replied “er have my car please any think but my life please just take my car” so toad got out the car and the highway man drove of luckily he knew where badger live so he took a visited at MR Badger’s house he got at his friend’s house his friend and him sat down next to the fire, with a cup of hot coco, and Toad told Badger about how he met the highway man and the way he saw faces in the trees as he was on his way to the house and how it was his… …brother’s wedding day, badger felt sorry for him so he gave Toad his car so he could get to the venue and give his brother’s ring to him and so he could get home again. CHAPTER 3: THE UNSAVERY CHARACTER So at that Toad was gone into the deeper part of the wild wood Badger’s car was much faster a bit too fast he started to hire noises but not the car well at least not his car it was a faint “phoo-phoo” it was getting closer “phoo-phoo” and closer “phoo-phoo” then he realized it was his old car ,it was the highway man “phoo-phoo” then he heard gun fire it hit his wind shield then it hit the tyre he spun of the road and trait into a ditch he caught a glance of the car as it flew along the gravel spiting fragments on poor old Toad he crawled out the wreck as he managed to mumble “you cc vermin cc” as he climbed up on to the road . He walked on with a tight grip on the ring . CHAPTER 4:THANK GODNESS FOR THAT! As Toad walked along the edge of the road asking if anyone had room for a poor toad … …like me? Soon he saw a familiar face it was Rat ,he saw Toad and took pity on him so he let him take a ride Toad asked “can you take me to Frog Hall please?” Rat replied “of course anything for a fellow river banker like you” toad was so happy he could get to his brother’s wedding still clenching the ring even tighter . CHAPTER5:THE WEDDING So Ratty and Toad went on to the gravel drive of Frog Hall all the gests where waiting for the best animal to give the groom the ring .
