11. Sterile Neutrinos: There are quite strong theoretical arguments indicating that the PMNS-Oscillations are only the lowmass end of a more complete picture with additional sterile neutrinos. Some unexplained experimental results might also point into this direction. Precision tests of the PMNS model with a European long-baseline program will be a major contribution to the quest for sterile neutrinos in a wide parameter range.
