Read the article about a boy who crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a sailing boat. Are sentences 1-8 'Right' or 'Wrong'? If there is not enough information to answer 'Right' or 'Wrong', choose 'Doesn't say'. ATLANTIC SAILOR Sebastian Clover is a 15-year-old boy who lives in the south of England. In January, he became the youngest person ever to travel from one side of the Atlantic Ocean to the other, all alone in a sailing boat. It took Sebastian 25 days to sail from Tenerife to the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. This isn’t very fast, but it is a long way for someone so young! The weather was fine during Sebastian’s trip, which was lucky, and he wasn’t always completely alone. Sometimes very large fish swam along next to his boat. At first he was afraid that they were dangerous, but the fish were just being friendly. The main problem that Sebastian had on the trip was when his telephone stopped working. His parents were really worried about him, because he usually phoned them every day, but for the last three days he couldn’t. Sebastian was sorry not to talk to them, but nothing else was wrong. Sebastian kept a video diary on his trip. You will soon be able to buy this video in the shops. Sebastian wants to sail around the world next and he needs to save up some money to pay for the trip. If you buy his video, this will help him. 1. Sebastian's house is in England. A) Right B) Wrong C) Doesn’t say 2. Sebastian's trip started in Antigua. A) Right B) Wrong C) Doesn’t say 5. Read the article about a school trip to a science museum and then answer the questions. My Trip to the Science Museum I’ve been at Ford School since I was seven – that’s nearly five years! Now I’m in Year 6 and we do lots of interesting things; but when our science teacher said we could go to a science museum I only went because so many of my classmates did. When we arrived at the museum, the teacher said we could watch a film about the sun after seeing the exhibition. Later we went to hear a talk. From the back of the room I could see what the man was doing but he spoke too quietly. I was so interested that I asked my teacher if I could move to the front. Although the science museum wasn’t as good as others I’ve been to, there were lots of activities to keep us busy. After the visit our science teacher gave a task based on what we learnt at the museum. I worked with my best friend, Sally. The teacher explained how to do the mathematics but I just couldn’t get the correct answer. Luckily, Sally helped me. Then we had to build these special things called solar scopes to let us look at the sun without hurting our eyes or wearing safety glasses. It was just like in the film we saw at the museum! I enjoy science classes since that trip. I’m not entering any competitions, like my brother, but I am borrowing some of his science books. Questions: 1. Why did Kirsty go on the museum trip?
