Dear Families,
November 10th
Week of
During this quarter, one of the Kings district
Language Arts standards is to have the children focus
on writing an informative non-fiction picture book that
uses a Social Studies or Science topic.
The students seem VERY excited to get this project
going and we have already started our research here at
school! There are only a few things that the students
will need to accomplish for this project to receive
full credit. I have attached the rubric for you so
you’ll know EXACTLY what our expectations and goals are
for this project!
Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to
shoot me an email!
Good luck and happy research hunting,
Mrs. Juli Elder
