Appendix S3 A cladogram for Brachygastra species showing B. azteca as the most basal species and three main clades, named by Andena & Carpenter (2012)
as the lecheguana, scutellaris and smithii groups (grey rectangle). The other species represents the outgroups used in the analysis.
