Many __________________ and _______________________ feel both nations could exist _____________________ and share the land.
Recently…
However there are many remaining issues that need to be addressed by both groups:
•Mutual ______________________
(Many Arabs refuse to recognize an Israeli state even exists.)
•Placement of __________________
(Who gets access to which resources and holy sites?)
•Security
(Can both sides be trusted to remain peaceful?)
•Water rights
(Limited water resources might create conflict.)
•Control of Jerusalem
(How will they split Jerusalem which is holy to both religions?)
•Land rights
(Palestinians and Israelis have family claims to land from many generations.)
Leading the Fight…
Hamas: A paramilitary force fighting Israeli occupation in Gaza.
Hezbollah: A paramilitary group from Lebanon working against Israeli presence in the region. They are accused by some of using excessive violence and terrorism in their methods but praised by others because they also run hospitals, built schools, and provide social services to refugees in the West Bank.
