All athletes 5-11 yrs. old, certificates will be given with individual results as well as team format.
Saturday February 6th will include Ski Jump, speed trap, and downhill race and obstacle course.
Sunday February 7th will have a dual SL, GS race and ski cross event. Athletes will get between 4- 7 runs
in each course. All Stations are on the Dreadnaught run and is completely surrounded with B-net. There
is a warm up lodge (Kootenay House) at the start of the run, kids ski the Obstacle course, distance jump,
the downhill course, and the speed trap all in one run on Saturday and on Sunday kids ski the Dual
slalom, GS course and the Ski Cross.

Race Registration:
Mandatory on-line registration through BC Alpine by Jan.30th. 2015. Any athlete being pulled
from the race MUST be pulled by Thursday Feb.4th. Athletes pulled after that will be DNS and
will still be required to pay. We appreciate your cooperation.
Registration and Team Captain’s Meeting:
Registration occurs between 6:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, in the Jerry Johnson Room in the Athlete
Training Center at Resort for both Zone Race and Festival, Festival only teams can register
Saturday morning between 8-9am in the Jerry Johnson room.
Entry Fees.
Teck Zone race $35.00 each day entry fee, $10.00 Zone improvement fee and $25.00
Banquet, Total $105.00 for weekend.
KAT Festival $25.00 for weekend includes BBQ lunch, $15.00 for 1Day
Bib/Teardown Deposit Separate $100.00 cheque made out to Kimberley Alpine Team. Only
for Teck Zone race
Lift Tickets
Discounted Lift tickets are available at the RCR ticket window
Race families can purchase tickets at a discounted rate at the Guest Services Counter.
Complementary coaches tickets. Please let the Race Administrator know the names of the
attending coaches in advance.
Awards will be presented outside the Stem-winder following the finish of the race on Sunday
Banquet will be in Plaza outside the Stemwinder during the Night Slalom
Volunteers Please sign up via BC Alpine, volunteers will be provided with a lift ticket, packed
lunch and drink tickets for Saturdays Plaza Party.
