Pay Rate: $12 - $35 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
JOB SUMMARY:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, steam, and refrigerated commercial
Food service equipment and residential appliances.
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this exceptional career opportunity you must have at least the following:
. Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in a mechanical or electrical job
. Must be able to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
. Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
. Accredited High School diploma, Business or trade school or GED
. 1-2 years of experience in food service and equipment repair or related field.
. Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
. Able to travel and attend training schools
. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
. Residential/Commercial HVAC experience a plus
Refrigeration Service Technicians also required to have:
. Universal EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certificate or Type 2
Physical Requirements:
. Lifting 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance
. Climbing up to 8 ft. with ladder
. Extensive walking 3-5 miles / day
. Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
. Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
. Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
. OT as required
