There are a number of developments concerning Winter League, Tournament Websites,
Tennis Ireland PINs and ITN (International Tennis Numbers) numbers. These developments
are detailed below and we would urge you to take action as soon as possible before the busy
winter league season starts.This years Munster Branch Winter League will be run on League
Planner (A tournament software product similar to that of Tournament Planner - You would
be used to this from entering Open Tournaments)
In order for team entries and results entry to be done efficiently ALL players need a Tennis
Ireland PIN and an ITN. Just to be clear that these numbers represent different information
and are BOTH necessary
Tennis Ireland PIN - Unique Identifier
ITN number - Your level of play - All you have to do is add 3 to your Munster Branch
Grade .....eg MB Grade 3 = ITN 6, MB Grade 6 = ITN 9
During the year, Tennis Ireland amalgamated it's Tennis Operating System so all projects
could be run from the same software
Even if you know your Tennis Ireland PIN you need to check your personal information
and enter your ITN number into your account so that rating calculations can be done
following the Winter League. Therefore can you please take action on the below information

AND TENNIS IRELAND PIN








On the top right hand corner there are two options:
Sign Up
Login
If you have any doubt as to what your login is then ask the system to send you your
username or password. This will be sent by e mail.
If you have never logged in before then it is best that you click on the "Sign Up"
button.
Once you start entering your personal details the system will pick you up if they have a
record for you and you will be instructed accordingly. If this happens click on your own
name and you will see the following screen:
Fill in these details and you will use them in future to login. Following this process you
will see the following screen:
Otherwise you will complete the process and a number will be assigned to you and you
can fill in your login details
Once you are happy that you have completed this process you will be able to login in future
and manage your account.
UPDATING YOUR ACCOUNT WITH YOUR ITN
It is important that you enter your ITN (International Tennis Number - Add 3 onto your
Munster Branch Grade) as this is your standard of play and will be adjusted once it is time to
update the directory. The first change will take place in the Spring, following the Winter
League.





Login into the system on http://ti.tournamentsoftware.com/
Once you are logged in click on your name and you will see options below
Click on the "Overview Tab"
Down along the left you will see the "ITN" tab
Click on this and please enter your ITN accordingly (Just add 3 to your Munster
Branch Grade) Once you set this parameter you will not be able to change it. The
system will change it once it is time to regrade. Any changes in the meantime will
have to be done by Munster Branch Administration or Tennis Ireland.
It will be in everyones interest for us all to start interacting with our own accounts as we can
then be in control of all areas to do with Tournaments and Leagues.
BENEFITS OF USING THE NEW SYSTEM


Allow all users to manage their own account for all tennis related activities
The main reason for this was so that we could operate our tournament
software, national rankings software and player database all on one platform.



This development will be hugely beneficial for all tournament organisers using
tournament planner, with automatic importing of player’s national rankings to
facilitate seeding of events.
Will allow for the use of Tournament League Planner was used for the first
time for the Interprovincial series at all ages this year and all organisers are to
be commended for embracing the new software.
This means of course that these results are available during and after the
events and for evermore on ti.tournamentsoftware.com
