WHAT’S NEW AT KI-BE?
VISIT WSU PROSSER TO LEARN
HSPE, EOC and SMARTER BALANCE TESTING will take place
during the months of March, April and May. Some students will be
testing on multiple days, while other students may not test at all
this year. It is important to keep track of your required testing days
and attend ALL the testing sessions you are scheduled for. More
details will be available on the Ki-Be web site, posted in the commons;
and sent home prior to testing.
MARCH 11: 8 AM – 3:45 PM VISIT
SPRING BREAK is a good time for students to make up
assignments, or do some volunteering!! Check with the high school
librarian to get volunteer forms so that your hours count. It’s also a
great time to call CBC and make an appointment for the Running Start
COMPASS test if you are interested in Running Start next year. Pick
up an information packet from Ms. Minkler.
NOW IS THE TIME for Juniors who wish to take the SAT or ACT
college entrance exams, to see their counselor or GEAR UP staff; there
are waivers available for the $50 fee. The next registration for SAT
is April 6 (test May 2) or May 8 (test June 6); the next registration for
ACT is March 13th (test April 18th) or May 8 (test June 13).

STUDENTS WHO FAIL CLASSES 1st or 2nd semester may want to
enroll in summer school to retrieve .5 or 1.0 credit. More information
will be available in the counseling office in May. Tri-Tech will also
offer summer programs for .5 vocational credit.
SCHOLARSHIP LISTS are updated every two weeks and are available
on the counselor website or in the counseling office. There are job
opportunities, internships, scholarships, and summer programs
for all grade levels, so check it out today!

¿QUÉ HAY DE NUEVO EN KI-BE?
HSPE, EOC y pruebas de equilibrio INTELIGENTE se llevarán a cabo durante los meses de
marzo, abril y mayo. Algunos estudiantes estarán probando en varios días, mientras que otros
estudiantes no pueden probar nada este año. Es importante mantener un registro de sus días de
pruebas requeridas y asistir a todas las sesiones de pruebas que tiene programado para. Más
detalles estarán disponibles en el Ki-Be sitio web, publicado en los bienes comunes; y enviado a
casa antes de la prueba.
VACACIONES DE PRIMAVERA es un buen momento para que los estudiantes puedan
recuperar las asignaciones, o hacer algún voluntariado !! Consulte con el bibliotecario de la
escuela secundaria para obtener las formas de voluntariado para que sus horas cuentan. Es también
un buen momento para llamar CBC y hacer una cita para la prueba de inicio COMPASS Correr si
usted está interesado en Running Start el próximo año. Recoger un paquete de información de la Sra
Minkler.
AHORA ES EL MOMENTO para Juniors que desean tomar el SAT o ACT exámenes de ingreso a la

de $ 50. El siguiente inscripción para el SAT es de 6 de abril (prueba de 02 de mayo) o el 8 de mayo

el 8 de mayo (prueba de 13 de junio).
Los estudiantes que no CLASES primero o segundo semestre pueden querer inscribirse en la
escuela de verano para recuperar 0,5 o 1,0 créditos. Más información estará disponible en la oficina
de consejería en mayo. Tri-Tech también ofrecerá programas de verano para .5 crédito profesional.
LISTAS DE BECAS se actualizan cada dos semanas y están disponibles en el sitio web consejero o
en la oficina de consejería. Hay oportunidades de trabajo, pasantías, becas y programas de verano
para todos los grados, así que compruebe hacia fuera hoy!
¿ES USTED UN merecedor SENIOR NOTABLE de un cordón de honor de la graduación? Ver Sra.
Flanagan para un formulario de nominación. Recuerde, los pedidos de togas y birretes deben
hacerse lo antes posible!
