This body of work is based on my interests in natural history and the natural
environment. My watercolours resulted from views I observed during visits to
the John Muir Country Park, Belhaven Beach and Fife. My forest studies are
based around reactions to visiting a pine forest during summer in the south of
Sweden. As a keen gardener I have always had an interest in insects and their
role in the environment.
