Dear Parents & Students,
It is time to gear up for this year’s Battle of the Books (BOB) Program. The BOB’s Program involves reading a
set of 15 books and taking notes on the stories. After reading all of the books, students will take a BOB
qualification test. Based on the results of the assessment, the students will qualify to be on Bauder’s Battle of
the Books Team. Each qualifying team will compete in a school battle at the end of the year. The Battle will
take place on May 26th.
The books are available for checkout in the Bauder Library or online via Destiny. While we have many options
for book checkout, we cannot guarantee they will always be available. So you may need to go to the public
library or purchase the books.
Our first meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 7th in the Pow Wow at 8:05. Each participant will
need a composition book. In this meeting students’ will receive information about how to get started!
