Task/Objectives: The students will be able to determine important people
of the Revolutionary War. The students will use Microsoft Word to create
a poster to display and present to the class. Along with Word the
students will use the internet to research people and obtain information.
Guiding Questions for this lesson:
Who is your important person of the Revolutionary War? Why is your person important? What important events was he/she involved in? What
other important information do we need to know?
Process (strategies activities):
The students will need to pick an important person of the Revolutionary War, once they pick a person they will need to write it down. No one can
pick the same person. After they pick their person they can start researching on the internet. They will need to find the following information.
Who is your important person of the Revolutionary War? Why is your person important? What important event(s) was he/she involved in? What
other important information do we need to know?
Length of Lesson: 3 days

Day 1 Introduce and research
