Note: Summer assignments include 3 weeks class preparation (this includes, but is not limited to, preparing course outlines
and carefully evaluating two courses each summer to ensure that that courses taught at Burman University promote
student success and provide at least the same level of academic challenge as those taught in other universities); 2 weeks
professional development (i.e. attending conferences, journal reading, etc.); 3 or 4 weeks (95%), or 5 or 6 weeks (100%)
contract option activities (research, development, teaching custom duties, and/or graduate studies/dissertation, or division
administration); and 1 or 2 weeks QA report preparation.
