Box 232125 Anchorage, AK 99523-2125 2015 Scholarship Information The IIA is the internal audit profession's global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security. Established in 1941, the IIA serves more than 170,000 members in 165 countries. The Alaska Chapter of The IIA has established a scholarship for the purpose of attracting interest in the internal audit profession in Alaska. Scholarship(s) will be awarded based on scholastic achievement, educational and career goals and community involvement. Financial need is not a consideration for this scholarship. The scholarship is available to both part-time and full-time students enrolled in a four-year degree program at an accredited school in Alaska, in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or related area. Students must have completed at least two semesters in order to be eligible for consideration. The number and dollar amount of scholarships awarded depend on the number of qualified applications received, not to exceed $2,000.
