Critically analyse Plato’s mathematical example in Meno.
This is from the epistemology section of the course, so you should be thinking about
Plato’s theory of knowledge. For this exercise, you should explain the example as if
you were talking to an intelligent person who had not read Meno or studied
philosophy. Use diagrams if you want to, but if you do make sure that you also
explain them in your own words.

By 8th March 2013, 500 words
What is Plato’s Theory of Forms? Illustrate your answer with at least 2 of
Plato’s examples.
This is from the being and reality section of the course, so you should be focussing
on Plato’s metaphysics. For this exercise, you should explain the example as if you
were talking to an intelligent person who had not read Plato or studied philosophy.
