Students and parents are encouraged to investigate these scholarships. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Student must be a graduating senior at HHS or St. Joes, accepted to a college or university, majoring in math or science, complete application Student must be a graduating senior from HHS, attending a college or university, majoring in humanities, complete application. Student must be a graduating senior from HHS, full time student working toward a bachelor degree from an accredited College/University, complete application Student must live in Harrison Township and demonstrate financial need. Must show proof of enrollment/payment into College or University and complete application. Student must be a volunteer at Allegheny Valley Hospital Students must me a member of the Highlands Varsity baseball team, attending College or University, GPA of 3.0 or higher, demonstrate respect of teammates, coaches and teachers, have good sportsmanship, must love baseball. GOUGH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP TBD $700 CRITERIA Student must be a HHS Varsity Football player, complete application, submit a brief essay. Student must complete application and write a brief essay. Will look at overall GPA, student activities and community service. Students must complete application, provide a college or university acceptance letter, teacher recommendation, and academic transcript. HHS Senior with a GPA of 85% and involved in at least two extra-curricular activities, complete essay and application. Student must demonstrate above average talents and achievements in visual, literary and performing arts, complete application, write brief essay, will pursue a college program in the Arts. Student must complete application and write a brief essay. Student must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, GPA of 3.0 or higher, write an essay, complete application and submit two letters of recommendation. Student must be a graduating senior of HHS, possess financial need, be of high moral character, continue their education post high school and complete the application. One student is nominated each month of the school year by a faculty member. At the end of the school year one of the nominees is chosen to receive the scholarship. Student must demonstrate outstanding community service and academic achievement.
