telephone and explain what you are doing. They will often put you straight through
to a reporter or ask you to email some details.
Local radio stations are a great medium for publicising your event. Again, give them
a call and ask for the news desk and then send them your press release inviting
them to contact you.
Local TV - If you do this make sure you detail what would be visually interesting for
them to film.
Local websites, such as the BBC and what’s on guides or the listings pages in local

There is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and the effects on people’s lives are
progressive and permanent. No two diagnoses are the same but disability often appears
from the onset. Some of the symptoms experienced are confinement to a wheelchair,
constant pain, chronic fatigue, cognitive problems such as short term memory loss, and
incontinence. MS also has an unpredictable nature for example someone can become
blind over night or experience muscle spasm one day but not the next.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in
the UK. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger
and older people too. Roughly three times as many women have MS as men.
The West of England MS Therapy Centre provides treatments and therapies to people
living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other neurological conditions in a warm and friendly
environment. Teamed with our innovative therapies and treatments to help alleviate some
of the distressing symptoms of neurological conditions and to be mobile for as long as
possible.
INSERT YOUR NAME is hoping that HIS/HER efforts will allow the West of England MS
Therapy Centre to reach more people with MS and other neurological conditions to keep
advancing symptoms at bay for as long as possible.
