Spin Penrose Newsletter…A program proudly brought to you by Starpoint 2015 Messages Please remember to bring your child with a change of clothes and a sack lunch. We have lunch out side every day in the shade. Don't forget water bottles that are labeled with your child's name. We need to keep them hydrated. Kits and Kangaroos The kids have had a blast so far this summer. They have gone to the library, played in the water, had bike days, and had a visit from Estes Rockets. For the month of July we will be continuing to go to the library, having water days, and have added glow in the dark dance parties every other Friday. We will be having a BBQ day in celebration of July 4th. We are continuing to work on our garden and the School age children are working on making a movie. It should be complete by the end of summer so we can share with parents. Ms. Shannon and Ms. Andrea and Mrs. Holly Activities for Home How to Rain Paint Supplies: Kool Aid Rain Containers (Baby food jars) Paint brushes Watercolor paper (optional) Directions: This homemade paint recipe is one of the easiest recipes ever! All you do is empty Kool Aid packets into baby food jars, then set the jars out in our backyard and waited for the rain. Once it rains enough to fill the jars give each paint mixture a good stir with the paint brushes. I chose watercolor paper for this project since I anticipated it being very wet. Regular paper can be used, although I recommend sticking with a heavier paper to avoid tearing. These homemade watercolors are so easy to make, and they smell incredible.
