can qualify for 5 year tuition waiver at any
Oklahoma college. Students must maintain a 2.5
GPA in their core subjects and in their cumulative
courses, and stay out of trouble and away from

science, technology, engineering, math, business

University. A 2.5 GPA during the fall is required
to receive the other $250 for the spring semester.

letters of recommendation, official documentation
of an ACT or SAT score, and total number of

the ACT or 1090 on the SAT. Must be a student
athlete participating in one of the following sports:
football, volleyball, FP softball, wrestling,
basketball, baseball, SP softball, soccer, track and
field during each year of their high school career.

University, then submit your scholarship
application, complete FAFSA online, and be
eligible to receive OHLAP (OK Promise) funding.

must enroll full-time at an eligible Oklahoma postsecondary institution, and family income must not
exceed $50,000. Preference will be given to

This is a one-week long program held during July
that helps you make an informed decision about
applying to and attending the US Coast Guard
Academy. To apply go to: www.uscga.com.
Dates are 7/3-7/9, 7/10-7/16, and 7/17-7/23.
Meet two of the following: rank in the top 75% on
the MATS, ITBS, SAT, or ACT; rank in the top
25% of their class; have a 2.5 or higher GPA in
college prep classes; or receive outstanding letters
of recommendation. Takes place 7/11/11-7/22/11.

Free summer academies will be held this summer
at different Oklahoma colleges and universities.
Academies include math, science, and technology.
