Board of Directors - Governance Committee Officers
Debbie Grice - Chair nominated by Jackie seconded by many
Brenda Randle-Vice Chair

Secretary - Dee Fricks Nominated by Jackie Seconded by many
Treasurer - Andrew Cromwell
Nominated by Andrew Cromwell. Seconded by
Brenda Randle
Each nominee was voted in unanimously and the new slate of officers was
installed

Monica Conner; Evi Hernandez; Shawna Steinway, BOS and user of services
VOTING MEMBER SELECTION
Discussion and appointment of voting members occurred. A change was made to
the initial make-up, in order to provide for one representative only, from each
stakeholder/agency at the table. The Governance Committee will work with
Pauline to make sure we have a representative cross section. Attached, is the list
of ongoing recruitment tasks and those who have agreed to represent different
sectors.
COMMITTEE WORK – Breakout Sessions
Governance Committee Notes Attached. (Thank you, Dee!)
Debbie Grice asked for an AdHoc committee to work with Erin Mayer, of KC
Sheriff’s Dept on the Drop Box program.
Committee Breakout Sessions occurred. Some comments over challenges with
the committees and their structure out of our Draft ByLaws, and will be taken up
with the newly appointed officers and governance committee.
RECONVENING – ENTIRE BOARD, MEMBERSHIP
Time ran short, so the Membership Roundtable was limited to the most pressing
projects, including the Promise Campaign (KCBH); KPFP Spring Conference;
KCOE Youth Leadership Conference.
Next Meeting: Thursday, April 18, 2013.
