Junior Secondary Philosophy
Glenmore State High School prides itself on excelling together to create an engaging learning culture that
develops positive relationships within the classroom, school and wider community. Student success is achieved
through explicit quality teaching tailored to support individual student needs and goals.
The curriculum targets the adolescent learner through the provision of opportunities for challenge and choice
along with the development of personal and social competency. The Junior Secondary Leadership Program
(Dragon Spirit) encourages active and responsible citizenship.
Glenmore State High School gives the Junior Secondary student a distinct identity within the school and wider
community. This provides a smooth and successful transition into senior education and training.
