The EEC has a collaborative team of supports to help providers and programs advance through the QRIS. In each region, these units work collaboratively to educators. Find resources, exchange ideas, and join discussions at our O

Licensing
EEC licenses and regulates family, group, and school-age early education and care programs, residential care programs, and adoption/foster care placement agencies.
Program Quality Specialists (PQS)
PQSs provide support, resources, and technical assistance throughout the QRIS process.
QRIS Health Advisors
Health Advisors provide technical assistance on safe and healthy indoor and outdoor environments and health-related policies, and connect educators to health services.
Coordinated Family and Community Engagement
CFCE informs families about high-quality programs, promote parent education, family engagement and early literacy, and helps programs and providers to engages community resources.
Educator and Provider Support (EPS)
EPS grantees support educators and providers through professional development, coaching, and mentoring. EPS assists educators to increase competency through degrees, certificate, and credential attainment, and helps providers and programs meet accreditation and QRIS standards.
Childcare Resource and Referral (CCR&R)
Local CCR&Rs keep information on all programs and providers. A search can be tailored to meet specific needs, and CCR&Rs guide families as they look for quality child care.
