EUROPEAN COMMON PROPOSALS
FOR THE WORK OF THE CONFERENCE
PART 18
Agenda item 1.18
1.18
to consider a primary allocation to the radiolocation service for automotive applications
in the 77.5 – 78.0 GHz frequency band in accordance with Resolution 654 (WRC-12)
Introduction
CEPT proposes to add a primary allocation to RLS in the Table of Frequency Allocations of RR
Article 5 [, and to add a footnote specifying technical characteristics of radars operating in the
band].
In addition CEPT proposes to suppress Resolution 654 (WRC-12) since it will become superfluous
after the studies are completed and the allocation to RLS adopted by WRC-15 Conference.
