Description:
Italian Cultural Center Society (ICCS) Scholarships will be granted annually to
four Grade 12 students residing in Metro Vancouver whose parents are of Italian
heritage and members of the ICCS, and who intend to pursue Italian-language
course work at a post-secondary institution. The amount of each scholarship is
$500. Consideration will be given to both male and female applicants.
Application Requirements:
1. The recipient of the scholarship must be a graduating Grade 12 student residing
In Metro Vancouver whose parents are of Italian heritage and members of the
ICCS.
The applicant must intend to pursue Italian-language course work at a
postsecondary
institution.
2. The applicant must submit a completed ICCS application form.
3. The applicant must submit one letter of reference from an adult who is not a
relative.
4. Evidence of academic achievement, leadership, volunteerism and good
citizenship will be considered. Involvement in the ICCS will be an asset.
