 Theme - Your favourite place
 The theme is open to interpretation. It can be anywhere in the world, a
favourite room, place, landmark etc. Let your imagination lead you! If
people are in your photos, they need to give consent.
 Entry is $1 per photograph and is open to all who live in the area. You can
enter as many photos as you like. The photos must be taken between 1st
May and 29th May 2015.
 Entries must be received by Monday 1st June 2015 at the Community House
by 3pm. The Community House is open Monday to Wednesday from 9am to
4pm.
 The Winning Photos will be transformed into Canvas Art for the walls of the
Toolangi Castella District Community House for all to see. They may also
appear on Toolangi .net and Toolangi Castella Facebook page. Categories:
under 12, under 18 and Open. Winning entries will receive a prize.
Entries will be judged by a panel of talented photographers to
decide the winners in each category.

Toolangi Castella Photography Competition Rules and Guidelines
1) All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published
elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition.
2) Entries to be submitted via Dropbox link or USB in TIFF or PNG format. USB will be returned. The photo may
be in colour or black and white. Processing your image using a photo editing package is acceptable.
3) The photograph must be taken within the period of this competition 1st - 29th May 2015
4) It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the
permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Should the subject
be under 18 years of age, the entrant is required to submit a letter of permission from the subject’s parent
or guardian.
5) Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the
copyright for it.
6) The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7) Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
8) Each separate photo will incur a $1 entry fee. Multiple entries per person will be accepted. Late, illegible,
incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost
entries.
9) The winning entry will be the one that is judged to be the most visually appealing, creative, original and selfexplanatory.
10) By submitting an entry, the participant agrees to the condition that any image submitted may be turned into
a canvas and displayed in the Toolangi Castella District Community House or on the Toolangi.net website
11) The photographer will retain copyright of the photograph that they submit in the competition.
12) Any photograph used by Toolangi Castella District Community House Inc will be credited to the
photographer.
13) It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these
rules
