Ms. Caple 6th Grade Language Arts. Welcome, welcome, welcome!!! A sneek peek at Ms. Caple…..I
am entering into my fourth year of teaching here at PCIS. I graduated from Central High School c/o 95 as
well as from Troy University (Phenix City) in Dec. 2011 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I
served proudly in the U.S. Army for 7 years. After my military service, my path was not initially toward
education but instead Nursing. God, however, saw fit for me to be an educator and I thank Him everyday
for allowing me to walk in my calling but to also have gained extensive knowledge in the medical field. I
have 3 wonderful sons ages 18, 12 and 11. I am a Christian and attend First Assembly of God Church
here in Phenix City. Outside of enriching children’s lives, I am also a Mary Kay consultant, which in turn
allows me to enrich women’s lives. Outside of teaching and Mary Kay, I enjoy spending time with my
boys, college football (huge Auburn Fan WAR EAGLE), bowling, going to the movies and playing cards.

Red Devil Folders
A Red Devil Folder will be sent home every Tuesday with your student. This folder will contain the graded papers
for the previous week, a weekly progress report, and important notifications from the office and teachers. Red Devil
Folders are to be signed and returned the following day.
Student Planners
Student planners will be issued to every student at PCIS at the beginning of school. Student planners can contain
class agendas, assignments, objectives, and notes to parents. Planners are a very good way to communicate with
parents. Planners will be filled in each day by the students; parents are to review the planner daily for notes from
teachers as well as objectives covered in class daily. Parents aren’t required to sign the planners daily; however,
notes written to parents require signatures.
