ENNIS SISTERS CONCERT
The Ennis Sisters will be performing again
this year at St. Patrick’s Church on Monday,
December 21st. Ticket Cost - $25.00 and are
on sale at the Parish Office and at our Church
after each Mass.
GROWING IN FAITH SESSIONS
These free monthly sessions are offered through the
Archdiocese of St. John’s - Office of Adult Faith
Formation for anyone who wishes to participate. They
will take place from 9:00 AM- 12:00 Noon at the
Episcopal Library in the Archdiocesan Pastoral

LIFE AND LIGHT CAMPAIGN
As a response to St. John Paul II’s warning against
the “culture of death” and the Supreme Court of
Canada’s decision on Euthanasia, join the Life and
Light Campaign to pray for prevention of Euthanasia
and Assisted Suicide and the end of Abortion in
Canada. Mass 6:20 PM and Holy Hours(with Rosary
immediately following Mass) at Corpus Christi

During the month of November 470 Adults and 124

OPERATION SHOEBOXES
Another very successful year of collecting shoeboxes.
This year, on the Avalon Peninsula 17,971 shoeboxes
were collected; that is 1105 more than 2014! Thank
you for helping to put a smile on the faces of 17,971
children living in poverty.
NATIVITIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
The Basilica Museum will once again host the exhibit
of Nativities from Around the World, from November
29th to December 24th. The exhibit is open every day
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Wednesday nights from
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Please call and book a visit if
you are bringing a large group. All are welcome!
CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
Only a week is left till one of the favorite Holiday
concerts of the season: Opera on the Avalon’s
Christmas Spectacular concert. The concert will take
place on Sunday, December 13th at 2:00 PM, Gower
Street United Church. Tickets can be purchased at
the door or through www.eventbrite.ca or by calling
the office at 738-1322.
