Bachelor Programme in Agricultural and Environmental Management (top-up) The programme will qualify you to work in jobs within: • • • • Strategy and Business Development Environmental Management and Counseling Business Production and Management Project and Financial Management Presentation As a Bachelor of Agricultural and Environment Management, you will achieve skills to solve complex problems at a high level. You will get the knowledge and tools to complete assignments within project management, strategy, operation, production, personnel- and management development, environment, quality and innovation. You will be a competent sparring partner for businesses, organizations and their partners. The degree focus broadly on agricultural and are relevant for you want to promote development and productivity for the companies. Job functions The degree supplies you with a variety of opportunities. You will be able to work with corporate production and management in for instance landscaping companies or municipal park administration. You will also be able to work with environmental management and counselling in either a municipal administration of environmental or in companies that consult about engineering. Last but not least you will be able to consult in capacity of the agricultural advisor and research. Program structure The degree includes 10 weeks as an intern and ends with a bachelor project. You need to choose between two study areas: biology – or economics of agriculture. When choosing agricultural biology, you need to decide further between Pets or Environment. The degree is a one and a half year top up to the AP degree in Agro Business and Landscape Management. If you have completed secondary school, you will be able to start on the two year AP degree and continue further on to a bachelor in Agricultural and Environmental Management. The degree will take three and a half years in total. The degree allows you to further study towards a graduate level. Curriculum The programme duration is 1½ year divided into 3 semesters.
