Local Pageant Contract and Job Description Miss Elk City --Always represent Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West with good moral character and integrity. --Be available to ride in the Elk City Rodeo of Champions rodeo parade held every year the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. --Be available to attend the Pageant Princess Workshop on a Sunday afternoon in early October. --Be available to attend the Hospital Foundation Fundraiser in November. --Be available if asked to attend events, openings, ribbon cuttings, school events, banquets, dinners, etc….if it does not conflict with school or work, putting Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West needs for a spokesperson first and representing Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West to the best of her ability. --Be on time for all events and meet deadlines and timelines as instructed. --Be available for preparation in all categories for the Miss Oklahoma Pageant 2016 Pageant through her reign as Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West. --Be willing to change anything in any category of competition as the Executive Director and Miss Elk City Pageant Board see fit to be able to compete to the best of her ability for the title of Miss Oklahoma. --Be aware that boyfriends are strictly forbidden to interfere in any way with any category of competition for preparation of winning the title of Miss Oklahoma 2016. Boyfriends or fiancés are not permitted at any rehearsal or event at Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West and Miss Oklahoma unless otherwise permitted by the Miss Oklahoma pageant board. --Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West must be present to give up her crown and perform at the 2017 Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West pageant whenever it is scheduled. --The Executive Director and the Miss Elk City Pageant Board will always make the final decisions concerning Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West in preparation for Miss Oklahoma. --All wardrobe selections and talent must be approved by the Executive Director/Miss Elk City Pageant Board. --Any fundraising event must be approved by the pageant board, and all monies collected will be counted with the involvement of at least one board member. --Adhere to an approved nutrition and workout regimen as prescribed by a professional trainer in agreement with the local pageant board. --If the job description is not followed and carried out, the Miss Elk City/Miss Queen of the West titleholder runs the risk of losing her title to the first runner-up. ______________________________ ______________________________ Signature of Contestant ______________________________ Signature of Parent/Guardian Date Date ______________________________ (if under 18)
