BRUCE 01:09:50:07 ANGIE: Okay. BRUCE: Yes, um, I'm Bruce the camera man. And, yeah it's been uh, it's kind of a full circle is where I'm at right now. Six years ago, um, we were on a job in Kenya and I met Angie for the first time then. An amazing, bubbly, woman who was a production assistant for Mariner (spelling) at that stage. Incredibly keen and eager and helpful and friendly and really added a lot to our shoot. Yeah, and on that shoot we spent a lot of time traveling around in cars and, uh, yeah, on bumpy dirt roads and -- so we spent a lot time traveling around. And the crew were joking that there was love blossoming on the back seat between Angie and Nick. Um, yeah, Nick -- I don't think Angie really saw it coming but, uh, and yeah, I don't know if Nick was, uh, after her but, uh, yeah, the journey sort of started then, six years ago. 01:11:06:12 And now Angie’s asked me to come back and be a camera man for her movie. It's an incredible honor to be able to tell her story because, uh, yeah, even the best Hollywood script writers couldn't write a story like this. So, yeah, here we are back completing the circle. It's going to be amazing. ANGIE: [Inaudible] don't move yet. 1 BRUCE BRUCE: Yeah, I think the sun's come out and it's got what you brought (?), yeah, you see? ANGIE: Oh. BRUCE: Yeah, even during that thing it's [inaudible]. Yeah. ANGIE: Okay, so we met a lot of people on the trip. What did you think about Nick the more time you spent with him? BRUCE: Uh, Nick was a great guy. He was, yeah, friendly, open, yeah, loving. 01:12:02:19 Uh, he loved love. Um, yeah, whenever he was around people, they warmed him. He was a great guy. ANGIE: You remember the bus driver on the first trip when we were with Nick? BRUCE: Um, was that Jeremy? ANGIE: I forget his name. He was, I think he was the Arab guy because he was celebrating some holiday or something. BRUCE: Okay. 2 BRUCE ANGIE: Muslim was what he was. And, uh, and him and Nick were just talking, and I thought they knew each other. I then found out later Nick didn't even know the guy. He's just like -- BRUCE: Yeah. ANGIE: Warmed up to him. I was like, what? And here I thought they had been friends or something, and he didn't even know who that was. BRUCE: Yeah, that was the character of Nick. Whoever he met, yeah, that just warms him because he had an open heart and, um, yeah, you know, as the camera man we're kind of busy and doing our stuff but when we had our off times, you know, he was easy to chat to there. He was such a great guy. 01:13:04:21 And, uh, yes, so, yeah it's been a -- yeah, kind of between then and now I heard little bits and pieces of the story. And we knew that there was definitely a start of a love affair on that, um, shoot. And then I heard bits and pieces in between. And then when I heard that Nick has passed away, sure, it was such a tragedy, very sad. Yeah, yeah, sad to loose such a great guy. And sad for Angie too, for you, Angie, because, yeah, it's hard to put it in words. ANGIE: Okay, let's see, uh, do you think Angie will ever date anybody again? 3 BRUCE 01:14:07:04 BRUCE: Well, Angie is so beautiful and loving and, yeah, the right man will come again. I know it's got to be so hard for you to, uh, to overcome and to, you know, to try and replace -- you can't replace Nick. He was such a [inaudible]. But, yeah, maybe with some, yeah. I mean, definitely the men will be after you, Angie, because you are a great girl. And, um, so yeah, I think Angie will love again. ANGIE: Uh, let's see, uh, just from the little time that you spent with Nick, what do you think his legacy will be? 01:15:00:08 BRUCE: Uh, yeah, Nick's legacy. I think it's about his generosity of spirit. That’s what he will be remembered for. His friendliness, his generosity of spirit, his openness and his loving nature. ANGIE: Okay, [inaudible]. BRUCE: Yeah, I'm going to just relay that first story again was a little bit, a little bit broken up there. Yes, I'm Bruce the cameraman, and, um, I'm sorry. I'm Bruce the cameraman, I'm, yeah, the story started right here (?) and where we are six ago on a film we were making in Kenya. 01:16:00:05 4 BRUCE I met Angie, she was a production assistant. Very enthusiastic and helpful. And first time in Africa was a -- it's always good to see an America first time in Africa. Their eyes are that big. Anyway, yes, on that shoot, we spend a lot of time traveling in a vehicle. And, uh, and Nick and Angie kind of always seemed to end up in the back seat. And, yeah, I think it was Kenny kept talking that there was definitely love blossoming on the back seat there. Yeah, when we did talk with you, yeah, when we did talk with Angie she denied it. She was -- gave a smile but, uh, she definitely didn’t see the love coming. But, uh, I think Nick did. 01:17:01:07 And, yeah, they, yeah, okay, I'll leave it there. Okay, cool. I'm not good at this side of the camera. ANGIE: You did a good job. 5
