A miracle. Soon at Kiev gallery!
On April 30 ‘Mystetska zbirka’ art gallery opens a new project of Anna Valieva called «a
Miracle»
We see wonder every day. It gives us signs by the game of a sunlight, delicate shadows and glare
golden radiance. High, unearthly, divine miracle is hidden in thousands daily little things – that’s why we
don’t notice it. The project of Anna Valieva called «a Miracle» teaches us again see and understand the
miracles.
The project consists of a series of paintings and installations. It presents the viewers a sense of
lightness, softness and harmony. In her new works Anna Valieva embodied happiness, warm waves of love
and true magic. The distinctive Anna’s art style - soft pastel colors, game of light and shadows.
The installation impresses the most - the central image of the exhibition is a surround woman's
face in a thin lace. Using a special light the figure casts its shadow on the wall, creating a mystical,
unearthly effect. In this way Anna embodies the dream of a miracle that fills the human mind and is
projected into reality. The artist believes that the greatest miracle in life is love, and it happens to everyone
who believes in it.
Using Tiffany colour - a special shade of turquoise – the artist fills and passes the main feeling of
the project called «a Miracle» - tenderness. Anna is convinced that this color gives a feeling of freshness
and purity. It combines a unique ability to remove fatigue and irritation.
"Learning and feeling the light was always with me, wherever I was. It was the inspiration and
basis for the birth of this project", - said Valieva.
"Anna Valieva created her works with the help of a soft sunlight of early spring. I am convinced that
this exhibition will cheer up even the most gloomy day!", - said Maxim Voloshin, director of gallery
"Mystetska zbirka".
Anna Valieva is young and already very successful Ukrainian artist. Back in 1999, Anna became
the winner of Ukrainian contest of Cultural Foundation "New Names of Ukraine". In 2006 A. Valieva became
laureate of exhibition "Rome - Kyiv", supported by UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture. In 2008, Anna
graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, studio of monumental painting of
Professor N.A. Storozhenko. Since 2008 - a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. In 2014 she
participated in a number of high-profile art projects, including "According to Forbes" and the art-project
"Fatherland" of Focus magazine.
The opening will take place on April 30 at 19:00
The exhibition runs from May 1 - 24, 2015
