 Business Apps
 Evernote- note-taking app with features and third-party add-on apps. You can take
notes, clip web pages, store images, take audio notes, and then share them across
devices and among coworkers.
 TigerText- is a business app for enterprise users. The mobile version lets you send
text messages, pictures, or files that will automatically self-destruct. You recall them
at will, too.
 Mileage Tracker- it can track mileage automatically by using GPS. It then calculates
the expense. It can even track your itinerary.
 Roambi Analytics- it lets you take hard-to-read data from anywhere and transforms
it into charts or graphs making that data more meaningful, all on your iPhone.
 Bank Apps- provide the capabilities of cash deposits, withdrawals, purchases, and
moving money from accounts.
 Yammer- is a work-group chat app. Chat, share photos/files, track projects: With
dozens of add-on apps it can make any work group more productive.
 Uber- lets you order a private car and driver from your smartphone in 35 cities and
14 countries. It emails you a receipt when you arrive at your destination and lets you
pay with your smartphone.
 Comic Apps
 DC Comics- the home of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, DC Comics has a
pretty good app that's free (pictured on top) on both the Apple App Store and Google
Play for Android.
 Marvel Comics- download hundreds of comics featuring your favorite characters
from Marvel.
 Comics+- is on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. It's all handled inside the
app, so you're simply browsing through the comics, and with a few taps, you could
have bought and downloaded something new to read.
 My Comic Book Collection- manage your own comic book collection. Never lose track
of an issue again.
 Comics- you can view on any of your devices. Experience cinematic, immersive
reading with Guided View technology and a reader that lets you easily scan, zoom,
and flip pages.
 Communication Apps
 WhatsApp Messenger- is a smartphone messenger available for Android and other
smartphones that is free. Message anyone from around the world. MULTIMEDIA:
Send Video, Images, and Voice notes to your friends and contacts.
 Google Hangout- is a communications app that lets you send and receive messages,
photos and more, and even start free video and voice calls.

Telegram- is a messaging app with a focus on speed and security. It’s super-fast,
simple, secure, and free. It’s seamlessly syncs across all of your devices and can be
used on desktops, tablets and phones alike.
 Education Apps
 Wikipedia- allows you to search Wikipedia pages for more information.
 Periodic Table- helps you to learn the periodic table. Learn about the categorization
of each element.
 Learn the Alphabet (ABCs)- helps to teach your kids the alphabet in a fun with
videos, sing-a-longs, etc.
 Google Earth- you can see the entire world and discover new places to visit and
explore in real life.
 3D Human Anatomy- be able to view all of the bone structures and learn how each
bone is important.
 Mathematics and numbers kids- teaches your child about numbers.
 3D Brain- use your touch screen to rotate and zoom around the interactive brain
structures. Learn how each structure functions, about disorders, brain damages, case
studies, and links to modern research.
 Duolingo- teaches you different languages in an interactive way similar to Rosetta
Stone.
 Calculators- there are graphing calculators, scientific calculators, mole calculators,
etc.
 Entertainment and Games Apps
 Disneyland- keep track of the events and activities going on at all of the theme parks.
Get the times and maps of all the rides.
 Fandango- get movie times, tickets, and ratings from movie critics and movie
viewers.
 Sudoku- you have to fill each of the squares with a number between 1-9. You can play
at different levels.
 Movie- get movie times and ticket prices at any selected movie theater.
 2048 Color Match- is a game that is an off branch of 2048. It is a puzzle game where
you need to keep blending the colors.
 Charades- you can play charades using your mobile device.
 Color Flood- you change the colors or squares of the board filling the entire board
under a certain amount of moves.
 Piano Tiles- tap your finger as quickly as possible without tapping on the white tiles.
It enhances or sharpens your hand-eye-coordination.
 Candy Crush Saga- syncs between all devices. Complete many levels and unlock
adventures.
 Emergency Apps
 Circle of 6- this unique app is for those dangerous situations when you need to
quickly (and discreetly) get help from your friends. Two quick taps sends one of three
pre-written text messages to as many as six of your contacts. One message sends your
GPS location and a request to be picked up, while another asks your friends to
quickly get in touch with you.
 FEMA- contains different types of information to keep you prepared for emergencies.
An interactive checklist for emergency kits, information how to stay safe and recover
from disaster, and a map of FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers, shelters, and generals
of how to help in case of emergency.
 QR Code Pet Id Tags- contains all of the information for your pet’s safety and
recovery in an editable online profile. There is a small fee for purchase but no annual
fees. There is free email notification and coordinates of the pets location.
 First Aid and Symptoms Search- offline emergency tool build up to 100 of thousands
real life processed emergency situations over the past for you.
 ICE: Emergency Contact- saves medical information such as allergies, medication,
condition, identity, organ donor, and blood type. It sends messages to all of the
people to your saved as ICE contacts and gives them your location and tells them that
you are in need of help.

 Expensify- helps you easily log expenses, capture receipt images, and manage
reports.
 Time Recording- if you work in the type of business where you need to record the
hours you spend on tasks, then Time Recording can help. This time sheet app tracks
your hours, integrates with your calendar, and lets you save your time sheets to

 CamScanner- turns your phone into a scanner so you can ditch the paper and still
track all kinds of documents like receipts, notes, price tags, invoices, business cards,
and so on.
 Google Finance- brings you streaming real time quotes in this stock quote and

quick access to charts and lets you view the latest market and company news.

 Lumosity- is a brain training game created by Neurologists. It offers fun series of
challenges to exercise different parts of your brain.
 The Betty Crocker CookBook- get over 15,000 recipes. Specifically designed with
features to make it easier to cook from your device.
 My CookBook (Recipe Manager)- store all of your favorite recipes. It lets you create
your own digital cookbook.

 YouTube- users can sign into their accounts

 First Aid American Red Cross- provides expert advice for everyday emergencies in
your hand.
 Diseases Dictionary- detailed definition of symptoms, causes and treatments of

the music saved on your device.
 iTunes- is similar to Google Play but it is only for apple products. It syncs across all of
your apple products. You can buy music, apps, movies, Etc.
 Musical Instruments- play various types of musical instruments on your device.
There are piano apps, flute, clarinet, and many string instruments.
 Metronome- is a tool that musicians use to stay in time with each measure.
 Tuner- is a device that musicians use to make sure they are meeting the proper note
or tune.
 News and Magazines Apps
 Flipboard- its all timelines feature enables me to keep up with my most important
social media feeds in one stream.
 Issuu: A World of magazines- unlimited access to magazines, catalogs, and more
from your location.
 NBC News- delivers the stories you care about right now. Get up to the minute

around the world.
 Pocket- keeps you up to date on stories that you didn’t have time to read and syncs

 iCloud- is similar to Dropbox and Google Drive in that stores documents, pictures,
and PDF files and syncs them across all of your devices.

WPS- is similar to Microsoft word and Google Docs but it is a free version of a
document creator and can be used offline.
 Google Drive- is a free service that you can store documents and share them with
multiple people. All of the people that the document is shared with is allowed to edit
the document.
 DocuSign Ink- enables you to sign and send any document.
 Calendars- it sets reminders and keeps track of all of your events. You can also share
your calendar with other people and view theirs if permitted.
 Genius Scan- enables you to convert a photo to PDF and it works with Evernote.
 Google Sheets- it is similar to Google Docs, it lets you make and edit spread sheets.
Unlike Microsoft it does not charge.
 Google Docs- allows you to edit the documents saved in Google Drive. It is similar to
Microsoft Word.
 HP ePrint- allows you to wirelessly connect to your HP printer. You can print from
any device.
 Dropbox- allows you to sync all of your files to your desktop, laptop, cell phone, etc.
 Shopping Apps
 Amazon, Etsy, and Ebay- purchase items from the online shopping networks.
 Wishlist- is a shopping network where you can purchase and view items. It connected
through Facebook
 Retail Stores- the majority of popular retail stores have their own apps where they
provide coupons and advertisements.
 Craigslist- allows you to search for products and purchase in any area. It allows you
to email the seller.
 Shopular- compiles coupons and advertisements of your favorite stores. It provides
notifications of when the deal is going to end.
 Social Media Apps
 Facebook- see what friends are up to, share updates, photos and videos, get notified
when friends like and comment on your posts, and text, chat and have group
conversations.
 Facebook Messenger- is just like texting, but you don't have to pay for every message.
 Google+- is a free app where you can explore your interests, connect with people, and
share things you’re into.
 Twitter- is a free app that lets you connect with people, express yourself, and discover
more about all the things.
 Instagram- share your photos and videos with friends and followers in a photo feed,
or send posts directly to your friends.
 Tumblr- share photos, gifs, video, music, quotes, chats, links, and text. Find and

 Snapchat- snap a photo or a video, add a caption, and send it to a friend. They’ll view
it, laugh, and then the Snap disappears from the screen

airlines or through a travel agent with just a few taps.
 Google Maps- is reliable and precise, and features everything you need to get from A
to point B safely and efficiently. It also provides a compass which is useful when
walking around unfamiliar cities.
 Waze social GPS, Maps, and Traffic- uses crowd-sourced information from its users
to bring your real-time mapping, traffic, and navigation information.
 Apple Maps- it is similar to Google Maps it provides a safe arrival to your destination.
 HipTrip ,Offline Maps, and Traffic- features offline maps for thousands of places all
over the world and includes corresponding with Wikipedia information about each
city.


Pocket Guide- is an audio tour of Paris, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, and over 100 more
major cities worldwide.
 Field Trip- this app is all about discovering local histories, secrets, and hidden gems.
It detects interesting shops, museums, buildings, and historical landmarks.
 Currency Simple Converter- handles more than 160 types of currency and is offered
offline.
 Rove- automatically tracks the places you’ve visited- hiking, biking, and driven to.
This app will make recounting your trip much easier.

found on google.

 Accuweather- provides an accurate update weather reading for up to seven days of
your area, it tells when the sunrise and sunset starts, the humidity level, and
provides the weather conditions of other areas of choice.
 3D Flip Clock and Weather- is a widget that offers an accurate reading of the
weather, temperature, location, time, and battery level.
 The Weather Channel- offers radar maps, local forecasts, and weather news. Includes
temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. Also has a widget for home screens.
 Weather Bug Time and Temp Widget- is a widget that provides a four day forecast,
time, temperature, and alerts you of any weather dangers.
