Intervention Showcase Presented by the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium ISU Alumni Center February 27, 2015 Table of Contents Introduction to ISPIC Web Access to Handouts Acknowledgements Presenters Power Point About the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium (ISPIC) ISPIC was developed in 2002 as a collaborative endeavor of the four universities training doctoral-level school psychologists in Illinois (Illinois State University, Loyola University Chicago, National Louis University, & Northern Illinois University) to address the need for accredited internship opportunities and for more school psychologists in Illinois. This past year The Chicago School of Professional Psychology became a sponsoring institution as well. We have trained 193 interns and currently have our largest cohort to date. In these tough economic times, we have been offering relatively low cost continuing professional development opportunities to meet the expressed training needs of practitioners and to fund basic operating expenses of the consortium. Thank you for being part of our learning community and we look forward to an on-going dialogue about programming to meet the educational and social-emotional needs of Illinois children, adolescents, and families.
