This year’s Oscars Took Place in Los Angeles in America. We’re going to tell you
what went down this year at the Oscars and who won what.
This year there was an amazing movie produced called “The Theory of
Everything”. This movie was about the famous Professor, Steven Hawkins;
beside his disabilities he is a very intelligent man and scientist, the man that
portrayed Steven Hawkins is Eddie Redmayne (Winner of Best Actor) he acts
out Steven Hawkins in an amazing way he showed everyone how hard it is for
Prof.Steven Hawkins but how spectacular he actually is.

The Oscars were held in the Dolby Theatre, in Los Angles,
California. The Oscars has been held in the Dolby Theatre
since 2002. The red carpet took days to be rolled out. Many
celebrities have walked on the red carpet. There is a huge
shopping centre beside the Dolby Theatre. It was built in 2001
and opened on the 9th of November 2001. It cost £94 million
to build. It has been
called the Kodak
Theatre from 20012012 and then the
Hollywood and
Highland Centre
from 2012. Awards
events at Dolby
Theatre have
included the American Idol finals, AFI Lifetime Achievement
Awards to Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and George Lucas,
Daytime Emmy Awards, ESPY Awards and BET Awards.
