Westlake Symphonic Band Semester Exam January 2016
Symphonic Band will rehearse during the Exam period on Friday, January 15 from
7:55- 9:30 AM. This rehearsal will count as 50% of your exam grade. The
remaining 50% will come from a playing test which you will video at home and
upload to google classroom.
All students participating in Solo and Ensemble will receive full credit for the playing exam
and are exempt from that part of the exam.
While video taping be sure that the music stand is not blocking my view of your instrument and
fingers – start the metronome before playing each selection and play them in order – Scales,
March, Twin Ports (or Celebrations). All recordings must be uploaded before our final exam
period on Friday.
