Student Teaching – Harrington Elementary School Title I School - Albion, MI
Teaching in a first grade self-contained classroom in a team-teaching environment, have
taken over full responsibilities of a classroom teacher for three consecutive weeks, to be
completed by December 2008

Pre-Student Teaching – Harrington Elementary School – Albion, MI
Albion College Education course which extended beyond the college school year by three
weeks; full days were spent in the classrooms of Albion Public schools to learn more about
the schools and diverse population of students; this was the first real combination of the
theory which was taught in college classes and practical classroom experience; required to
create a social studies unit plan about the city of Albion and team-teach with other college
students.

Over 150 hours have been spent in various elementary classrooms; these hours include
assessing students’ understanding and skills (including MLPP), designing and
implementing lessons for individual students, small groups and entire classes;

Responsible for creating original lesson plans from bible lessons; implemented lessons
