Newcastle, Jaunpils, Latvia September in Jaunpils was an autumn harvest day That day gathered together nearly 50 traders and 1000 visitors. Jaunpils gardeners association organized the autumn harvest trade. During the trade there were a lot of things to do and see, concert program by latvian singers -sisters Legzdinas, exhibition of autumn vegetables made by local kids, creative workshops, games, lottery organized by senior people NGO “Jaunpils, home -made and cooked goods by NGO “Mazpulki” etc. Autumn harvest in the tractor trail gets into the trade Moreover, not just the market brought together local people and visitors. Jaunpils municipality finished one great project work. Now is reconstructed drainage systems of Rūšu stream. It is very important for local people, because this stream and ponds surround Jaunpils medieval castle. Jaunpils Municipality also restored the water sluices. That day Chairwoman of Jaunpils Ligita Gintere solemnly cut the inaugural ribbon of the water sluices.
