Basic Panorama Steps for SALE Immunizations
A) To begin; log into Panorama, select role, set user defaults, then;
1.
Search client and set into context
2. c/o (click on) Client details then Personal information
-
Update personal details (phone, address…)
3. c/o and review consent directives
4. c/o risk factors and imms history interpretation and review
(Depends on client if this step is needed; at nurse’s discretion)
B) Immunization menu
1. c/o Immunizations
2. c/o Record and Update imms – immunization history page will load
3. c/o Warnings icon (if present) and review any info
4. Review past immunizations and forecaster
5. Scroll down and review sections with the
‘contains Data’ check mark.

C) Provide immunizations (Begin from Record and Update Imms screen).
1. Do vaccine teaching/screening as per usual CHC procedure
2. Update special considerations and deferrals as needed
3. Obtain verbal informed consent record in the consent
directives section. (program, sale, and PPD at same time is ok)
Use cancel button to return to the immunization profile from the
consent page.
5. c/o Add Historical Details and review details for each vaccine.
The following fields will be completed for non-publicly funded
vaccine(s):
o Immunizing Agent 1
o Date Administered
o Lot Number in the Comments section
o Dosage
o Dosage UOM
o Site
o Route
Policy states; the documentation of Trade Name, Manufacturer, or
expiry date does not need to be included if this information is
maintained in a database cross-referenced to the lot number
5. Select ‘Reason for Immunization’ = Sales – Non Travel.
Ensure remaining fields are correct and Save.
6. Administer the vaccines to the client
7. Print a Profile Report for the client
Note: if providing publicly funded vaccines at the same visit, be
sure to enter them as Add Provider Recorded.
