Project 1: Creating a Script
The Queen and the Wizard
Open on a clear starry sky and stars twinkle in the midnight purple sky. The titles are fading in
and out. The camera pans down to an oddly shaped white castle that is glowing bright from the
white of the moon. The camera is panning towards large open window on the high tower of
the castle.
(Crash)
The Queen
Look at what you make me do. I don’t like being this way to you.
Cut to a large and luxurious bedroom, a room fit for a Queen. A woman dressed in all white
standing over a man that is kneeling to her. She turns and walks away from him.
Slave
I am sorry my Queen, it shall never happen again. The wizard, he
had powers that I have never seen before. I dare say they seemed
stronger than yours, but I did see what you sent me for.
The Queen turns around to look at the Slave, her eyes gaze at him with interest. She walks
towards him with speed, uses her right index finger, and has him rise from his kneeling position.
The Queen
You saw the box?
Slave
I did. He had it guard by some energy field. I tried to break
through it with everything I could and before I knew it, I was
thrown back by his magic. I failed you my queen, my love.
The Queen tilts head and looks into his eyes with sympathy. She leans into his right ear and
whispers to him.
The Queen
The one of the many things I hate is failure, so don’t do it again or
you’ll end up as part of my ice sculpture collection.
The Queen looks to her left out the window, lifts her left arm and points out the window using
her staff.
The camera sits at the tip of her staff and pans out to outside of the window. There in a
“garden” of ice sculptures are a great number of animals and people frozen stiff, unable to
move, unable to breath, unable to live.
She grabs his hand and walks him over to her chambers.
The Queen
Now, lets talk about how you are going to fix what you didn’t do
the first time in getting me that box.
The Camera flies back out side of the window as the Queen and the Slave walk away from the
camera. The Camera flies further back to reveal the castle once more and speeds faster further
back to now reveal a man staring at the castle from a distance. His right fisted hand opens up
and a blue electric energy move through his fingers glowing brighter. So bright the screen goes
all white and fades to black.
