Principal Message
“Oh the Places You’ll Go at Bacchus Elementary”
First, I want to thank you for helping this school year get off to a great start. Many teachers reported
100% participation in SEP Conferences. Your participation in these conferences assures that we are all
working towards the same goal. We appreciate your support in providing the best learning opportunities for
your children. I am so thankful to be part of such a great community.
October is filled with many exciting events. We are fortunate to have KUED Literacy Night again this
year. Please join us on Wednesday, October 7th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Reading activities are scheduled
throughout the evening, a pizza dinner is served and all students go home with a free book. In order to plan
for the evening, KUED requests that families RSVP by October 6, 2015. If you did not sign up during the
conference, please call the school at 385-646-4762. It is a great family event!
Halloween falls on a non-school day this year. Therefore, we will be having our annual Halloween
parade on October 29th beginning at 9:30 am. This will take place on the school playground. Be sure to mark
your calendars. You will not want to miss this fun and exciting event.

Upcoming Events
I want to extend a special thanks to
the PTA and many parents that
provided food to the staff during

It was greatly appreciated!
