The recipient must be a son, daughter, or ward of a person whose
principal income is derived from the pipeline construction industry in
Canada and whose employer is a member the Pipe Line Contractors
Association of Canada. Applicant needs to be entering any recognized
Canadian university or college for first year studies in any discipline.
Golf British Columbia governed by the BC Golf Association (BCGA) and
in conjunction with the BC Junior Golf Association will award
scholarships to promising young ‘scholastic golfers’ to assist them
with tuition and other educational expenses in pursuing a postsecondary education.
Offers financial support to young people interested in career training
and/or education opportunities. Distributed to successful applicants
three times a year.

This deadline is for those applicants entering their BCIT program

The CHHA/CHHAF Scholarship was established to offer to offer
financial assistance and recognition to hard of hearing and deafened
students registered in a full time program at a recognized college or

Established by Friends of Canadian Broadcasting in 2002, this award
honours the memory of the late Dalton Camp, a distinguished
commentator on Canadian public affairs. The 2012 winner will
receive a $5000 prize for excellence in creative essay-writing on the
link between democracy and the media in Canada.
Awarded to students enrolled or enrolling in an accredited
undergraduate degree program in a College or University in Canada.
Preference will be given to daughters or sons of ordained clergy,
licensed elementary or secondary school teachers, Canadian military
personnel, graduates of a Canadian Military College members of the

Academic – to recognize and support capable students of Pakistani
origin in their academic pursuits.
Sports – To recognize capable and need athletes/sportsmen of
Pakistani origin.
Student must provide documentation they they have Cerebral Palsy
and must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution or
training program during the following year. Student must also
demonstrate financial need.
Available to dependents of personnel of BCEA member companies in
good standing, up to a maximum of two scholarships per member
company. The employee of the BCEA member company must live and
work in BC. Students are not required to attend school in BC.
Recognizes exceptional accomplishments of students who excel in any
of the following 6 categories: leadership: business &
entrepreneurship; arts, culture & recreation; science & technology;
community and volunteerism; government and politics. Nomination
process.
Awarded to students enrolling a post-secondary institution
professional, technical or trades related program leading to a career in
the Forest Sector.

Recognizes the outstanding achievements of youth in promoting
harmony and diversity across Canada.
To children of TWU members graduating from high school. This
scholarship program considers leadership values and labour
knowledge.
The Columbia Foundation, CUPE BC, CALM, NOW Communications
and the McGann family have established this award. Designed for
those studying or planning to study Communications who
demonstrate a commitment to the issues and actions affecting
working people.
This deadline is for those applicants entering their BCIT program
December 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012. Entrance Awards recognize
academic and non-academic achievements of students entering a full-

Must be Roman Catholic residents of the Lower Mainland and have a
3.0 (B) GP or higher. Applicants are to have the strength of Christian
character, as well as community services rendered within the
candidate’s own community and school. Involvement in athletic
activities and in particular the ability to promote team spirit and
sportsmanship.
Recognizes and celebrates the hard work and determination of
Aboriginal people who have overcome personal, economic or social
adversity in their pursuit of learning.
Recognizes that academic achievement is important, however, effort
is considered and genuine desire to learn is just as essential.
