Every year this doctoral book should be updated and signed by promotor and doctoral

Students that started their programme in the academic year 2014-2015 or later need to
earn 60 credits (60 ECTS) through a combination of compulsory and elective modules, as
outlined in the programme overview of the PhD programme (PhD in Business
Economics, see https://www.econ.kuleuven.be/eng/campusleuven/edu/phd).
Students that started their programme before the academic year 2014-2015 need to
earn the required study hours, as outlined in the programme overview of the previous
PhD programme (see

them, the terms “compulsory” and “elective” do not apply.
