RESUME–Educational counselor, translator and interpreter for Japanese Government
I have a particular interest in linguistics, education and foreign affairs. I hold a degree in
Japanese- Portuguese Language and Literature which gave me the chance to be accepted
by Japanese Government to work for their educational and foreign affairs departments
around the country.
Until March, 2013, I was responsible for the educational counseling, support and linguistic
services for South American immigrants residing in Japan. The experience I have acquired
in the past 6 years has given me not only a rich cultural background, but also an
outstanding linguistic, cultural and human knowledge.
CURRENT JOB PROFILE
In my present job, I am working with a leading Indian editing multinational company as a
Japanese market specialist, where I am one-point contact between the Japanese
researchers and our local editors and other staff.

SPARE TIME
I love to travel and learn new cultures and languages. I have visited many countries in
Asia and also travelled around Japan. Another hobby I have is to write. I write a blog
about travel and general information about Asia which has more than 1000 access every
week. Currently, besides learning more about the local culture, I am also taking Hindi
classes. Also, I am an animal lover and fortunately, my husband is a veterinarian what
gives me opportunity to help him whenever he goes for treating abandoned or stray
animals. I am also very fond of Indian classical dance and music.
