Guidelines for Abstracts and Extended Abstracts.
Abstract (Template given in Annexure I)

The abstract should be based on original research.
The text of the abstract should be between 300-325 words.
Abstract should be in Times New Roman (for English), or FM Abhaya (for Sinhala), Font size 12
and 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignments.

Three to five key words should be provided.
The sub-theme (given above) under which the paper will be presented should be stated clearly.
Abstract must be written in clear, grammatical English. Abstract that the poorly written where
meaning is difficult to comprehend will be rejected.

An electronic version of the abstract should be emailed to hug2015@kln.ac.lk by 26th of
September, 2015
VIII.
A hard copy of the abstract on A4 size paper should be sent to respective Symposium
Coordinators of each Department (see section on submission).
Declaration
I.
All authors should complete and submit a declaration from together with the abstract
according to the template provided in Annexure II.
II.
In the instance of the paper being co-authored, the declaration from should give the
names and affiliated instructions of all authors and should be signed only by the first
author.

All submission should include the Abstract, and the Declaration Form.
