Association of Ambulatory Health Care Institute for Quality
Improvement (AAAHC). This nationwide, benchmark study gathered
comparative data regarding an examination of the patient
experience in various non-surgical settings. Questions regarding the
patient’s perception of the treatment provided will be reported.
The results (without patient identifiers) will allow
University Health Services (UHS) to compare their performance
with other facilities, thus, ensuring that best practices are being
performed.
As a member of NACE, OSU Career Services participates in these

Initial assessments were conducted, with a 12-week follow-up, and
then a one-year follow up. Looked at specific Risk Factors:
Abdominal obesity, Low HDL, High Triglycerides, High Blood

Midnight Glow Run
The Midnight Glow Run is a fun run 5K held every Fall on campus.
The run takes places at midnight and takes students through the
heart of campus decked out in glow sticks and crazy outfits. The
initial purpose of the run was to create a fun, accessible event that
would attract students and participants who wouldn’t normally use
our services and programs. The goal and benchmark for success
we’ve used for each run has been participation. We’ve been very
successful to date, reaching over 400 participants in each of our
first two years
Women and Weights is a 4 week instructional course held two
times per semester. The program takes females through an
extensive set of curriculum with the goal of expanding knowledge
on the benefits of weightlifting, proper weight lifting form,
confidence in the weight room and how to create your own
workout program. The program has been going on for several years
and always reaches close to full capacity.

more elaborate food preparations. Recipes are designed to be
heart-healthy and lower in sodium. Two cookbooks have been
published as a result of doing the cooking classes. We have had 560

Attached are the numbers from 2006-2013 in an excel file that have
been used to assess the popularity from sport to sport each year.
We use these numbers to assess the offerings available and tailor
them each year. Also, during the fall 2013 students who
participated were sent a survey as we were trying to gather
information about their experience/satisfaction in that specific
sport. Those charts are also in the excel file.
