There Ought To Be A Law
Submission Form
In your work in the community, have you ever thought, “There really ought to be a law about…” or “A law in this area
would really help the people my efforts in the community support?” The Junior Leagues of California State Public Affairs
Committee (SPAC) is soliciting ideas for potential sponsored legislation efforts in support of issues concerning Health,
Education, Violence Prevention, or Family Support.
Suggestions can include ideas for new laws, a change in an existing law, or a topic idea that could be researched for
legislation. This is a great opportunity to help identify important community needs that could translate into one of SPAC’s
legislative priorities.
Submissions are due to JLOCC Public Affairs Director/Senior SPAC Delegate, Denise Scott at deniseascott@yahoo.com
by Sunday, February 24, 2013. Thank you for participating!
