PLAID PARTY, based on the color studies that Melissa did. All those big
beautiful panels have grabbed your attention, so we will be sharing the
technique with you on November 13th.

FRIENDSHIP PENDANTS $45 ( extras $30 each)
Just For Fun!
Join us to create a 6" strip of glass that will turn into
pendants. You will design the project as one piece, on
either a clear or black base, we will fuse it, and then we
will cut them in to pieces and fire polish them for
you. You will be creating a channel that will allow for a
chain or cord. The charm of this project is that you can
make adjacent pieces that fit together for your "bestie",
or your sisters or family members. The design will
move from one piece to the next, showing your special
relationship. Materials and two firings included, The
size we can cut is 1/2 inch wide on up, and we lose
some on each end, so the number of pendants will
vary. At least 4, and maybe more! If you want dichro, a selection of 1" x 2" pieces will be
available for for $6 each. We will be using System 96, so if you have some 96 dichro at home,
feel free to bring it.

Just For Fun!
This is a great project to create as a keepsake for all the
special people in your life. Create life sized images in
glass of your family members handprints! You can make
them different sizes to accommodate single or multiple
hands in the piece of glass. All we ask is that you trace
around your loved ones hand on paper and bring the
tracings in to the studio for your class. We provide the
instruction, the firing and the fibre casting material. You
purchase the glass colors of your choice.
You could make a bunch of 4" ornaments for the wee
ones, or you could create a collage on a large 12 x 12" as
Melissa and I did for the example.

EDGY STAR $65 Cross or Tree
Just for Fun, Minimal glass cutting, mosaic nippers used.
This is another one of those Edge projects, similar to
the tree or cross. This one is an 8" diameter project
that shines like a bright star! The project takes a
couple hours to build, and we provide all the glass and
firing. It could be mounted on a mirror, wire wrapped,
or we can mount a permanent "stand off" bracket for
$16.00 extra. This one is really "hot". Stop in to check
it out!
Edgy crosses or trees could also be made during this
class. When you call to sign up, please let us know
which project you want to make.

FUSED SNOWFLAKES $95
Intermediate
All materials provided. Create one large
snowflake, or several small ones. Some of the
clear glass is already cut. Fill a whole 13" round
kiln shelf with snowflakes. Use our patterns or
make your own. These make beautiful decorations
or gifts for Christmas. Cutting and Fusing
experience required.

PLAID PARTY $55.00
Intermediate - Cutting Skills required
Because you asked for it!
We've come up with a mini class to introduce
you to the plaid technique. The plaid effects
that were created when Melissa did all her
color studies attracted so much attention that
we have developed a 6" version that will
teach you the technique!
We will provide instruction, one firing, clear
glass, and a rainbow of colors for your first
experience. These babies really glow, stop in
to take a peek! Since we are doing the
technical part of the fusing process, you can
join us if you have never fused. All materials
and flat firing included. We can slump it into a
bowl for you for $15.00 extra.

STAINED GLASS LAMP $190.00
Intermediate - Requires Homework
In this two week class you will use a readymade lampshade frame to make a panel for a
lamp. The photo is showing the versatility of
this four sided framing system. We have done
stained, fused, and mosaic projects to
complete the panels.
The distance from the table to the bottom of
the frame is 16". The height of the shade is 7".
The total width of one panel is 15". A perfect
size for a table.
In your class you will use your stained glass
copper foil skills to make one of the sides. Our
instruction will include showing you how the
framing system works, helping you set up a
lamp panel jig, and providing you with sample
designs. If you are interested in creating your
own design, stop in a week or so before
class so we can give you a template.
Class includes the lamp base and shade
system, consumables like foil, solder, and
patina, and instruction needed to complete one panel. You will need to purchase your glass
prior to the beginning of the class. Once you know the process, you will be able to finish at
home, or you can rent shop time and work on it here. ($12.50 hr)

WINDOW DELITES! $45.00 (extras for $35)
Just for Fun
These 3" x 12" window ornaments will "de-lite" you all year
long. We made an example for each season, but you may do
whatever style you want. Instruction, clear base glass, use of our
class bin glass, and firing included. If you have time and want to
make more than one, each extra is $35.00. Glass cutting skills
desirable but not required. Pre-cuts available for purchase!
It's getting close to the Holidays, and these make great gifts.

BIRCH TREE, FUSED PANEL $85.00
Just for Fun
Create a 8 x 12" birch tree scene on a dark background
and watch the magic happen. You can choose the
season just by switching up the colors of the falling
leaves. You will learn a couple techniques for coloring
the trunks and the background to acquire the illusion of
depth. These panels are not quite full fused so as to
keep their texture! They may be displayed on a table or
plate stand. This project is so cool that some people are
doing it more than once!
All materials and one firing included. We will have fun!

EDGY CLOCK $95
Beginner - Some Cutting required
Just in time for the Holidays, we've come up with this
great clock class. Using the edge up technique, you
will create an 8 inch square clock. We will be leaving
a small hole in the center of our creation for the clock
shaft, and you will create the glass design. We will
include the glass, the firing and the clock parts.

INKING AROUND - FUN WITH ALCOHOL INKS $55.00
Just For Fun!
In this "Just for Fun" class, you'll learn how to
use alcohol inks in a variety of different
ways. Make great backgrounds for photos,
create your own paper, make decorative tiles,
even incorporate it into your glass
projects. You will walk away with several
examples of this beautiful art and will have
the knowledge to continue creating your own
artwork at home. Melissa has spent many
hours testing, learning, testing, and learning,
so she can point you in the right direction on
your Ink journey. She shares the tricks, and
the No No's to help you be successful without spending a huge amount of money! We will
have frames and display items for purchase if you wish to show off your work!

Grow your skills creating this beautiful fused
tree from all those mini pieces of fusible glass
that we have at the bottom of our class bin.

Beginner
This is one our most popular beginning classes!
Formal instruction and all materials are included in
this professional introduction to glass fusing.! We
open with a 45 minute lecture with "show and
tell" about the basic concepts of glass fusion
theory. Then, you will create 10 glass cabochons
that you may make into pendants or magnets.
Prism will fire your pieces and they will be
available for pick up a few days later. Basic bails
are included. No experience required. Glass
Cutting 101 is recommended, but not required.

FUSED HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS $95.00
Intermediate
Create ornaments for your Holiday events.
Firing and materials are included. Use frit,
scraps, dots, and your creativity to make some
beautiful decorations and/or gifts. You may
create as many as can fit on our black tray, up
to 8 ornaments. Create turkeys, trees,
pumpkins, leaves, diamonds, balls, snowmen,
santas, and more! Previous fusing and basic
cutting skills are required to register.

GLASS CUTTING 101 $45
Beginner
This is where it all starts! Glass cutting is the basic
skill that is required for most glass media projects.
During this skills class you will learn the theory of
glass cutting including tools, safety, pattern
cutting, and grinding. Whether you are doing
stained glass, mosaics, or plan on fusing, classes
are geared towards the needs of the students. By
the end, you will have cut straight pieces, circles,
and everything in between. You will have use of
our tools during class. No experience necessary.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR KILN $45.00
Lecture!
This seminar is great for anyone who owns or
plans on owning a kiln. We will discuss
ordering, setup, testing and running your kiln.
There will be special emphasis on programming,
care, and shelf materials. There will be a Q & A
session to help with individual needs. It's a great
learning experience for all you "firing newbie's", or
a great refresher for current kiln owners. Session
lasts about 2 hours. Reservations required.

FAUX WOVEN BOWL $75 plus glass
Intermediate
This 11" square basket would look great on
any table, and is fairly easy to build. You just
need to select two complimentary colors, cut
your strips and assemble! The spaces in
between are empty and create a basket
weave effect. We have other samples in
other colors in the studio for your viewing
pleasure. This class always fills very quickly,
so don't hesitate!

STAND UP TREE $45
Just For Fun!
Make a 6 inch tall 3-D Christmas tree. This
cute little tree is created with nipped up
pieces of glass on a clear base. You will do
the artwork, and we will take care of the
technical stuff. Firing and all materials
included. We will also throw in a 1" square of
clear dichro so you can add some sparkle to
your tree! This photo doesn't do justice to the
little guy!

FUSED MOOD LAMP $85 plus glass base
Intermediate
Create a 12" x 8" fused panel that will be
slumped into a curve on our large mood lamp
mold. This free-standing project is usually lit
with a small fan lamp base, but a few candles
work perfectly. We have 4 completed seasonal
samples on display, and can't wait to see what
you come up with! Cutting and fusing
experience required. Class Fee includes both
firings, instruction, and some of our class bin
glass for your designing pleasure. Stop in a
little early to select and purchase your base
glass. Cutting skills required.

STAINED GLASS SNOWFLAKE $75.00
Intermediate
Create a stained glass snowflake using
bevels and colorful glass nuggets. Enhance
your stained glass skills by learning how to
finish raw edges and using decorative
foil. Enjoy the experience of creating this
8" sun catcher just before the holidays. All
materials and instruction included. This
project has a lot of wow factor!

BEGINNING STAINED GLASS $150.00
8 X 10 Orientation PROJECT
In this 3 week session you will learn to cut, foil,
grind, solder and frame a stained glass panel.
Although the project is small, it will work you thru
each step of the entire process, and most
students will continue developing skills in their
own home studio. You will choose from one of 8
patterns for your first experience. We will provide
all the tools, instruction, and clear glass you need
to complete your first project. You may purchase
colors separately. Choose a pattern and your
glass prior to the class. $25 deposit to secure
your space. Four Students, Three weekly
sessions. Aprox 3.5 hrs per session.
Be prepared to commit to three consecutive weeks.
