What was your best experience in one of your classes this year?
- Get to experience the college writing
- Going to a chocolate factory
- Watching my first opera
- Theatre exercises in our film and watching movies
- Art and Film classes to bring out my creativity
- Doing a lab on a boat!
- With friends in class…while doing work of course
- Pre-calculus & Statistics, flipped classroom teaching style, Dr. McBride is very
personable and easy to work with
- Professor baked us muffins
- Meeting my close friends I have now
- Intro to Science, having the chance to go to the flight museum
- Writing about my favorite movie: 500 Days of Summer
What was your best experience with a campus activity or organization this year?
- Capture the flag
- LSU: The dance was pretty fun. I wasn’t really involved and wish I could change
that
- Freshmen All Nighter
- PA All Nighter
- Rotaract- Emergency food network repack! And Volunteer services
- SAB events of course! 
- Going to a conference in Gonzaga University: NWFASA
- R9R9: The Block Party & campus activities
- Rest & Relaxation, convocation
- Open mic- got to perform for the first time
- When I went to the acapella concert
- Get to experience a lot of experience like Acapella from PLU
What was your biggest surprise about UW Tacoma?
- How much I would be part of campus
- Very welcoming, met a lot of great people here
- The genuine people
- The people
- How kind and helpful staff and students are, love the small class sizes, allows to
have good relationships with teachers
- How connected everyone is
- Students love to be involved and there are events every week’
- The campus is constantly growing
- How many fun activities there are
- How close knit the community is
- How friendly everyone is
- That I got accepted
What are you most excited about for your sophomore year?
- New adventures
- New people, different classes and new challenges
- Declaring!
- Starting my major
- Meeting more amazing teachers and taking accounting classes!
- More people
- Meeting new people
- Experiencing everything in the college experiment
- At Pierce, junior was block party
- My new on campus job (entertainment coordination for SAB)
- Meeting new people
- Get to sign up my own classes
What scares you the most about your sophomore year?
- Not getting the internship I want
- Having to declare the major, it seems and sounds overwhelming
- The hard classes  Biology
- Almost close to graduation
- Choosing a minor and finding internship[s in the area to further my education
- One step closer to graduation
- Classes are hard
- I was scared that I wouldn’t do well in school
- Junior year: new people
- The time to declare a major would be quickly approaching

Where do you see yourself by senior year or by graduation?
- Internship for Animation Studio
- Possible working for Boeing or something like it, hopefully by then I know what I’ll
be doing with my life
